Before You Visit
What should I bring?
- Modest swimwear or appropriate sporting attire for wet environments
- Optional: Water bottle (hydration is key!) We do have compostable cups along with an ice & water machine.
- Optional: Flip-flops or sandals for walking around the facility (you can also choose to go barefoot)
- BASK is a cashless facility. We accept all major debit and credit cards, as well as contactless payments; be sure to bring your card / phone!
Are there any health restrictions?
If you have cardiovascular issues, high blood pressure, or are pregnant, please consult with your doctor before using the cold plunge or sauna.
What is the experience at BASK?
We are a co-ed and communal facility in the cold plunge and sauna areas. We have separate men / women's locker rooms for changing & showering. When booking a soak session, you'll have a 2 hour block in the facility to enjoy the sauna & cold plunges.
Do you provide lockers or storage?
Yes, we offer secure storage for your belongings during your visit.

What is the Parking Situation?
For those visiting us from out of town - there are plenty of parking options! We are a downtown facility and we're located in a paid parking structure (rates vary depending on time / events). There is also free and low-cost street parking available, depending on availability.

Yes, we highly recommend booking your session in advance to ensure availability. Walk-ins may be accommodated based on availability.
Cold Plunge & Sauna
How many people does the sauna and cold plunges hold?
Our community Finnish dry sauna has capacity for up to 40 people and we have 4 single occupant cold plunge tubs.
How hot is the sauna?
Our community Finnish dry sauna has set point is 194°F and provides a range of available heat options between 170-200°F, depending on the level of bench that you choose.
What temperature are the cold plunges?
Our cold plunges have setpoints between 37-50°F for optimal recovery benefits.
How long should I stay in the cold plunge?
Most users stay in for 2-5 minutes per round, depending on experience level. We recommend starting slow and listening to your body. We have 4 cold plunge tubs varying in temperature from 37F - 50F for you to choose from.
What are the benefits of using the sauna?
Sauna use can help with detoxification, improved circulation, muscle relaxation, stress relief, and overall well-being.
Should I alternate between the cold plunge and sauna?
Yes! Contrast therapy (alternating between heat and cold) enhances circulation, boosts energy levels, and supports recovery. We just ask that you rinse before going into the cold plunge tubs.
